Linwood Kennerly Payne, Jr.

Dr.
Payne was a group leader in Agricultural Chemicals for the Union
Carbide Tech Center in South Charleston, WV. He was
traveling to Kansas City on company business. He held
degrees from the Medical College of Virginia, and did
post-doctoral work at the University of Kansas. Dr. Payne
held several patents in agricultural chemistry. He was one
of the transfer passengers from TWA flight 69. Dr. Payne
left behind a wife, Betty Lou, and sons Christopher, Douglas,
and Gregory.
